Martin Brower Cooler Expansion

Martin-Brower is the world’s largest distributor of products to the world’s largest restaurant company – McDonald’s. CDML has recently completed a number of projects for the BC distribution centre, located in Delta.The Martin-Brower site consists of a 50,000sq.ft distribution centre, comprising of a dry goods warehouse, 7100sqft Freezer Storage, 2,140 sq.ft Cooler Storage, and 3,460 sq.ft of Cold Dock

Among the projects completed were a high efficiency refrigeration plant retrofit, re-construction and expansion of the cooler rooms, insulation and envelope upgrades to the cold dock and a high efficiency lighting retrofit of the dry goods warehouse. The project goal was to increase efficiency in both process and operation and to reduce the energy intensity on site. The reduction in energy consumption will reduce the distribution centre overheads associated with utilities.

The construction project was delivered within an extremely compressed time schedule of three months and the project was delivered on time and under budget, the two elements of every project that keep our clients coming back for more
